How to prepare your wardrobe for autumn.

As the days get shorter, I want to start a new season in my wardrobe, to feel the fresh autumn vibes and the coziness of the clothes that I’m wearing. I want to feel warm and happy all autumn long.

At first, I’m pulling everything out from my closet, take good care of them, and pack away the last seasons clothes. After that, I’m taking the new seasons’ clothing and start to look them through for the season to come.

Choose the ones that I like

I tend to save my seasonal clothes and wear them out a lot because I’m not too fond of excess consumption. But sometimes, I might buy some new items. I still leave my old clothes for the next season, if they are in good condition. I sort the pile through and pick my favorite ones to wear for this season.

Put up an outfit combinations

I try and test outfits to fill my inspiration and the need for autumn style season. I make sure that I have enough looks for the season, and they all inspire me to wear them.

Choose the things you need to buy

Sometimes I have everything that I need for an outfit to be perfect, and other times there’s one piece missing, whether it’s because it has worn out in the last year, or there’s some trendy item that I want to add in my wardrobe. I consider the things that I need in my autumn wardrobe and make a shopping list.

Go shopping

When I know exactly the things I need in my wardrobe, I continue to think about what items do I truly need in my closet for the autumn. As soon as I get the list ready, I head to the flea market or charity shop to fill my needs. If I still have something that I didn’t get by the recycled left in the list, I head to the boutique or webshop that sells quality like items.

This way, I get a sustainable wardrobe that is always in perfect shape and inspires me to feel my best every moment.
